You’re at your brother’s wedding right now, and you’re a bridesmaid. You keep sending me pictures of the beautiful bride’s gown, the reception hall, the decorations at the ceremony - and it’s all absolutely breathtaking.
Then you send me a picture of yourself, after your hair and makeup is done and you’re in your bridesmaid dress.
All I can say is: Wow.
I don’t know if it’s the makeup or if it’s how happy you are for your brother to finally be wed, but looking at the picture of you that you sent me just makes my heart flutter.
I love you, and it doesn’t matter what you look like. You have my heart because of who you are, how you are, and what you are about.
But when I look at you at times like this, when you’re looking absolutely radiant for a special occasion, I can’t help but stop and think to myself: “Damn. How did I get so lucky?”

I’ve been thinking about it lately, and it’s depressing to think that I’m not sure who would care outside of my family and you.
