I have a history of choosing girls that really hurt me in the end. One of my friends recently asked me, “You sure know how to pick them, don’t you?”

People have ridiculed me in the past, saying that I deserve to be hurt.

They’ve told me that I’m not good enough to find anything better than what I’ve already gotten.

I hope that someday, when you come along, we can prove them wrong.

And when I find you, I swear, I will make you feel as beautiful as you are in my eyes. I will treat you as the only girl important in my life.

I can only hope that I’m right, and that I do deserve a girl like you.
